AnexGate builds indigenous network security and connectivity products used by Enterprises, Government, Defense, BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and ISPs. Our product portfolio includes Next-Generation Firewalls (USG), SD-WAN Routers (ACE), Zero-Touch Deployment Platform (AnexHub), Network Monitoring System (AnexConnect), and other advanced security and remote-access systems. We design, develop and manufacture our hardware and software in India.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Developer who is strong in Python/Django and front-end web technologies to help build and enhance our administration and monitoring dashboards, device portals, and cloud management platforms. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable working on Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) environments and have an understanding of basic networking concepts, as our applications closely interact with network and security stacks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Django-based back-end services and APIs.
• Build clean, intuitive, and responsive Web UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, WebSockets and data models.
• Deploy, run, and debug applications in Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) environments.
• Collaborate with networking and firmware teams to integrate configuration, monitoring, and automation workflows.
• Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to design discussions and feature planning.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience building applications with Django.
• Good front-end development capability using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Bootstrap / Tailwind UI experience is a plus).
• Comfortable working with Linux command line, package installation, logs, services, etc.
• Understanding of Networking fundamentals such as:
  • IP addressing & subnetting
  • TCP/IP basics
  • HTTP/HTTPS
  • Firewalls, VPN, Routing (high-level understanding is enough)
• Git version control workflow.

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Experience with: RESTful API design, WebSockets, Celery, Redis, PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Experience in network automation / monitoring / Embedded Linux.
• Exposure to security appliances, SD-WAN, or firewall UI dashboards.
